We have had our horse property on the market for some time, with two different agents. It wasn’t until Alan started looking after the sale of the property that we saw proactive activity. Alan was constantly in touch, took every opportunity to show the property (once he even arrived early and gave the house a quick tidy as the interested parties wanted an immediate viewing and I wasn’t home) and gave us feedback on each inspection – without being prompted.

It felt good to finally have someone who ‘worked’ for the property sale.

In addition to Alan’s enthusiasm, professionalism and his conscientious attitude to his job, he is a very experienced horse owner and knows exactly what a horse person wants from a property. He can talk shop with horse people and has a wealth of knowledge, that he generously shares. I am sure this made all the difference to the successful sale of our purpose built horse property.

His dedication didn’t stop with the signing of the contract. He worked to ensure everything went smoothly for us and for the buyer. He attended the building inspection, even brought his own builder with him to value any repairs and to ensure independence. He has even arranged to supervise the couple of repairs required for the buyer.

We have never sold a property where we felt the agent was truly our partner in the journey and the success of the sale was as important to Alan as it was to us. He really cared.
